With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leland Michael Moore of Alexandria, Kentucky, who passed away on October 12, 2022 at the age of 72. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leland Michael Moore to pay them a last tribute.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Jack Moore and Bonnie Moore; his brothers-in-law, Tom Hortel, Steve Trutschel (Rebecca) and Greg Trutschel (Geana); his parents-in-law, Wanda Trutschel and Larry Trutschel (Helen); his wife Idajean Moore; his daughters, Kristin Moore Forbes (Adam), Sara Moore Harty (Brian) and Linda Moore (Charles Gentry); his siblings, Brenda Moore Arrowsmith (Fred), Labonna Moore Hortel (Tom) and Aaron Moore (Rebecca); and his grandchildren, Liam, Finn Forbes, Eleanor and Lincoln John Harty. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and close friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 1st 2022 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Spring Grove Cemetery (4521 Spring Grove Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45232). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 1st 2022 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. Sadly, by the time the pandemic hit in 2020, the combination of the covid operating restrictions coupled with the progression of Mike's disease made it impossible to operate the salon spa so in May of 2020, Mi Salon Spa closed its doors.

Education is where Mike's heart was and even in the late stages of Alzheimer's he would enjoy coming to the school to share part of the wonderful experience he created for others.
