Rog, better known as Beans, was a friend you could always rely on to be there for you.
Rog was a very close friend of mine and I miss him.

Beans was a great friend. I looked like a midget playing next to him on the line. The good ones went early.

Roger "Beans" Beindorf our biggest lineman on the football and wrestling teams our senior year. We were the first wrestling team at DHS. During wrestling practice you had to be quick if you were practicing with Beans because if he got you down and put his body on yours it was almost impossible to get away. Fred Holly was our next biggest lineman on the football team. I miss them both.

Hey Beans, I got some stories that I can't tell here, but we sure had some fun in high school, and I am glad to remember you and some of your requests! Especially the time when I was driving my Mom's wagon and you waved me down in the middle of the street! You were the greatest. Tondy Clemens

Beans was a friend of mine.  I remember playing "football" with him and some other east side kids in a lot on Hopkins St.  Later I learned that the boys only played football with the girls because, well, they were boys and we were girls.  At the time I thought it was neat that boys would allow girls to play football with them.  He was a great guy.
