Jim was one of the first we lost. Jim and I were very close at the time of his death. I often think of him as I named my son after him, and I lost him too....
Sadly missed, my friend.

Jim and I were good friends from the 8th grade on.
I remember after high school (1961) we sat at Adolph's drinking beer one night trying to figure out if we should join the Marines, the Navy or Air Force. I think we decided on the Marines but Jim went back to school and I went in the Navy.

It was a shock to learn about the accident while I was away in the Navy.

I still think of him almost every day. He was a great friend. I don't know what else to say

Jim was a close friend of mine as a young teenager.  I remember several of us would walk out to his house and his mom would send us back to his BEDROOM!!  My Mom would have sent me to reform school if she knew that!!  Once at a slumber party at my house,  a girl ( not mentioning names, but she will be at the reunion) was describing how he kissed her, so soft....and she kissed me to show me.  Yikes!!  I thought I would go to hell for that!  I can still see Jim's smile and his pineapple haircut .
