Dose anyone still have their ticket stub or the B&O time table that was issued to us for our senior class trip to DC? If so, please contact me. I would like to put them on display at the museum for our  September reunion. I will return them to you.

OK ... but all my memories of DHS are a bit foggy ... :-)

        A recent find, I was going through an old trunk that belonged to my mother. In it I found numerous copies of the Banner, our commencement announcement booklet and a May 27, 1963 copy of the Defiance Crescent News Paper, with the headline; "RESTORE AND REFORM IKE TELLS  GRADS".  Do you remember our second commencement ceremony at Defiance College? We marched into a tent on the campus and stood behind the DC seniors to listen to former President Eisenhower as he gave their commencement speech. Not a friendly greetings from them on their special day. Along with the paper, I found the pass that was issued to me for that event. forgotten treasures &  fond memories.
