The first very Defiance / Napoleon alumni football game will be played 7.30 P.M. Saturday, August 3rd 2013. It will be played at Napoleon's Charles Buckenmeyer Stadium. Come out and support our DHS Football Alumni, see 35 to 40 former players including at lest one member of the "DHS Ohio State Championship Team"play. An early win over Napoleon would be a great start for our 2013 DHS football season.

Defiance wins first ever Defiance / Napoleon Alumni Football Game 21 - 7. We had the longest scoring drive of 99 yards after a successful goal yard stand on the 1 yard line. Oldest DHS player was from the class of 1985. Oldest Napoleon player was from the class of 1988.

A  little football trivia.

Back in 2000, DHS won the first game ever played at the then"NEW" Charles Buckenmeyer. We also scored the first touch down in that game. Now 13 years later we did it to them again, although this time Napoleon scored the first touch down.

I am a fan of DHS football, never played in high school just some sand lot get togethers. High school football  and the half time shows are good fall entertaiment. I go to other games when DHS is on the road.
