Joyce was in my gym class and we were also in choir together.. She was always fun to be around. We had nicknames for one another and actually continued to call one another by those crazy names into adulthood. Unfortunately, I can't seem to recall the names at this time. It wouldn't surprise me if Joyce was one of the best bowlers in her league. She was one of those gals in gym class that you definitely wanted on your team. Once a friend, always a friend. At the last reunion Joyce came up to me to say hi. I did not think that she even knew who I was. We had a very pleasant conversation. She was a very nice lady. God bless you, Joyce.
I went to Joyce's viewing last Fri.(11/13/2020), and talked with her one son Kevin. He said she was suffering from Alzheimers Disease but died from Covid. I fondly remember her as a fellow student at Spencer. Oh those long lost days !!!
