Diana was a friend of mine from St John's Lutheran School. Her mother and mine were good friends and both voluteered to be our troop leaders in Girl Scouts. Unfortunately, Diana and I were our mothers' "guinea pigs". They would try their ideas on us before presenting them to the rest of the troop. Diana was quiet and fairly shy in school. She was kind to everyone. She continued living in Defiance after high school and worked with children at St John's Lutheran helping with Sunday School and other Christian programs. She had one daughter, Michelle.
I was sorry to read that Diana had passed. We had such good times in Girl Scouts and her Mom was such a kind and patient Girl Scout Leader to us and had so many fun parties for us.
