Yvonne Marie "Bonnie" (Whitmore) Wagner, 70, of Defiance, entered into God's eternal care Thursday, June 25, 2015, in her residence.

She was born in Defiance, Ohio on April 28, 1945, the daughter of the late John H. and Rose L. (Cornwell) Wagner.

Bonnie was a lifelong resident of Defiance and a Defiance High School graduate. She was a life member of First Baptist Church and served as the church librarian. She was an active and dedicated member of the church. She loved the Lord. She enjoyed crafts, water aerobics at the YMCA, and loved animals, especially her dogs. She had been self-employed with her cleaning service.

Surviving are a son, David (Connie) Whitmore Jr. of Defiance; stepchildren, Bobbie Arzheimer, Jackie Huff and Ryan Huff; and aunts, Leona (Ken) May of Defiance, Carol Anderson of Indiana, Jeannine Wagner of Defiance, and Joan Wagner of Defiance. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Amber German, Samantha German, Jennifer Trusty, Bobbie McMillen and Tabatha Whitmore; six great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, former husband David Whitmore Sr. and life partner Lawrence Huff.

Services at the Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home, Defiance, at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 30, with Wayne Altstaetter officiating.

Friends are invited to call 9-11 a.m. Tuesday before the services at Lawson-Roessner.

We were saddened to learn of Bonnie's passing. We would like to extend our sympathy to her family. We remember her as a kind and friendly classmate. Praying for God to comfort the family during their time of loss. Pam &  Ted Gray
