Kay was one of the St John's Lutheran School gang. We were in the same class together for eight years.  I was never allowed to sit right next to Kay nor she by me due to the fact that we both liked to talk more than pay attention. It was always a fun morning when Kay would bring one of her sisters latest movie magazines. She told us she had to " smuggle" them out of the house which only made sharing them with us more exciting. She loved movies and TV and was very knowledgeable in both subjects. We enjoyed many birthday parties, rolling skating at Hancock's Skating Rink and Girl Scouts together. I'm sure everyone from St John's has a funny story they could share with you regarding their friend, Kay. She married a wonderful guy, George Dabrowski, who fit right in with the rest of our classsmates when he attended  several  of our previous class reunions. Kay will be truly missed at our 50th Class Reunion.

I was so shocked to learn of Kay's passing on this website.  We had kept in touch for 46 years, at least though Christmas cards, then she quit responding to mine for a couple of years so I figured her Christmas list had gotten too long and I quit writing to her.  Now I think she must have been ill and I'm so sorry I was never there for her.  I have tried writing to George but the letter came back.  Apparently he moved some time ago.  If anyone has his address please send it to me.

Kay was a wonderful friend, always fun to be with, smart, a great story teller and I miss her greatly.

Kay was a special fun loving girl.  She and I were good friends in high school and at Kent State.  I will miss her being at the reunion.  Kay loved to laugh.  She will be missed by all.
