As I got close to the "empty nest" phase, I decided to adopt 2 little ones. Maybe it was my mid-life craziness bc I had a baby on hand at 52yo! And a little girl too. They are great fun-they keep me young but exhausted. I'm also a grandmother now as my oldest son had a baby boy in Sept 2018.
