Kress, Barbara L., 48, medical assistant, died Monday, April 6, 1998.

Survivors: sons, Jeffery Ostrander of Wichita, Bobby Ostrander of Atlanta, Ga.; mother, Ruth Brown, brothers, Larry Brown, James Brown, all of Derby; sister, Sylvia Ramseyer of Rose Hill; two grandchildren.

Barbara was active in the Panther Choir, the Philharmonic and Girls Ensemble and in the Future Homemakers of America Club.
