I was the first Girl Jockey to get officially licensed in Kansas. Was Blessed with makeing the leading jockey in Kansas in 1969 and 1970. After my racehorse riding career, I moved on into the training aspect. The first year after I obtained my trainers license, while training racehorses in Denver Colorado at the Centennial Racetrack at Littleton, I was awarded as the First Female trainer to Win a Stakes Race, and made leading female trainer in 1977 at Denver Colorado. Young and Having Fun ! Later on, I came back to Wichita, and was the first female salesman that Davis Moore hired. Loved selling cars, but missed my horses, so I bought some a ranch outside of Maize. Met a Professional Steer Wrestler, and We Rodeoed for 10 years, meanwhile I was also traing Young Barrel Horses, and competing also. Then another career change, I obtained my Real Estae License 26 years ago, Love it, Call me if You want to buy or sell Your Property, helping people find what they want is my specialty in Real Estate!

My favorite story was when a couple of girlfriends and I painted Senior 69's on the North Side of the Derby Senior High with Bright Silver Spray paint ! Would have got away with it except one of my friends ratted. I remember spending time after class with gasoline and wire brushes on tall ladders removeing the beautiful logo ! My next favorite memory was when I was a junior, We won the girls poderpuff game, with me makeing all the winning points. along when I was a Senior we won, with me again makeing all the winning points. I could run fast, even after a broken hip injury when Running Barrels when I was 11 years old. I did not make Homecomming Queen or Belle of the Ball, however I was Happy, Working at Zales Jewelers, ( distributive education) and letting all my friends in free at the Meadowlark Twin Drive In. as I worked there after my Zales job. Do not remember getting much sleep, but I was makeing Money and Having Fun, I had a crush on Steve Moore, Gary Mace and Rod Brown also ! My big wish is whoever has my senior yearbook please come clean !!
