Philip G. Cook, 68,of Muscatine passed away on May 1, 2008 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at 6:00 P.M. at the Masonic Center in Muscatine. Following the services a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Masonic Center. Visitation for Philip will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 from 4:00-6:00 P.M.. at the Masonic Center. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in Philip's name. Sympathy notes may be left for the Cook family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com. The Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services is handling the arrangements for Philip and his family.

Philip George Cook was born on January 10, 1940 in Des Moines, Iowa the son of Donald and Erma (Teraba) Cook. On October 3, 1968, Philip was united in marriage to Elizabeth Cline in Des Moines. He owned and operated PC Enterprises. Philip was a member of the Iowa Lodge #2, the Muscatine York Rite, he served as Grand Commander of the Grand Commandrey, Knights Temple of Iowa, also Davenport Valley Scottish Rite, and High 12 International.

Philip will be deeply missed by his wife, Betty of Muscatine; one brother, Donald C. Cook and his wife, Marty of Des Moines and one sister, Kathy Harris of Dallas, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
