William T. Fisher, 48, of 1349 Morton Ave., died Wednesday at his home.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hamilton's Funeral Home, with burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Fisher was a lifelong Des Moines resident. He retired as a tiremaker at Firestone Tire and Rubber Co., and he was a member of Home Masonic Lodge and a Panora Golf Association.

Survivors include a son, Michael of Des Moines; four daughters, Mary Jane Long of Des Moines, Terri Porter of Omaha, Neb., Cathy McDaniel of Conifer, Colo., and Eva Coverdell of Orlando, Fla;, his mother, Mary Margaret Fisher of Des Moines; three brothers, John and Russ, both of Des Moines, and Ed of Omaha; three sisters, Peggy Lint of Des Moines, Marilyn Torres of California and Carolyn McKeown of Paradise, Calif; and seven grandchildren.

Friends may call after 1 p.m. today at the funeral home.
