Marva Marie (Keyes) Harris was born August 24, 1939 in Des Moines, Iowa to Thomas Keyes and Ada Mae (Freeman) Keyes. Marva  74, went home to be with the Lord on December 2, 2013. A graveside service will be held 1p.m., December 5, 2013 at Glendale Cemetery.

Marva graduated from East High School and also took some college level classes. 

Marva loved the Lord and was a long time member of Shiloh Baptist Church where she was the Minister of Music. 

Marva's contralto voice was a rich addition to the choir. She had a beautiful smile and nurturing motherly spirit. 

Marva was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Altra Bagby and Jeanette Harold.

Marva is survived by her sons, Mathew (Melinda) Harris and Mark Presswood; her four grandchildren; brothers, Thomas (Lori) and Milton (Eleanor) Keyes and a host of extended family and friends.
