Dennis worked for the Chicago Northwestern Railroad. He started in their "yard", writing down/verifying the numbers to the boxcars as the trains went by. He retired as their Accountant prior to the company moving to Boone. He also crafted beautiful woodwork (clocks, banks, furniture, you name it) in his small business, named Associated Woodcrafters. He was one-of-a-kind in many regards. He'd give the shirt off his back to anyone in need but yet he would be ready to knock the block off of anyone who tried to harm his family. He was a very hard worker and never forgot his "roots".  Written by his daughter Tamara.
