erald R. Weimer, age 77, passed away, October 4, 2017.  Gerald was born in Detroit, MI on December 20, 1939 to Harry E. and Grace D. (Rupprecht) Weimer.  Jerry went to Mackenzie High School where he enjoyed Drama and ROTC. He was employed with General Motors as a photographer, retiring in 1994. Jerry was a founding member of the Livonia Gun Club and served as the Hartland Township Treasurer and on the Planning Commission.  Family meant everything to Jerry, and his favorite activities always centered around spending time with them.  Boating, fishing, and family barbeques were what meant the most to him. Jerry will be remembered as a loving and generous father, grandfather and friend.

His Family…Jerry is survived by his loving children; Richard (Therese) Weimer, Natalie (Greg Juviler) Weimer, and Christopher (Kristy Thurston) Weimer; granddaughters, Sophia and Katie; sister, Phyllis; and former wife Christine Marchak.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Grace.

His farewell…Jerry's family and friends will gather on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 from 2:00-8:00PM at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Lamb Chapel. Jerry's Community Farewell will be Wednesday, October 11 at 11:00AM with gathering beginning at 10AM, at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Lamb Chapel.  Burial to follow a Hodge Cemetery.
