My memories of Sam was that he had a good voice and sang with a couple of doo wop groups. Sam was a member of the "Valiants" which was started out as a singing group and turned into a Car Club (everyone will remember the same color jackets guys and gals wore with names on the front and the club name on the back. . I was a member and could not sing but I enjoyed the comradery of the other guys. Sam was a very good person and I enjoyed his friendship.
