Sorry to bring sad news:
Bruce passed away May 11, 2011. he had Leukemia for about a year.
it hit me hard.(still does). I saw him on his last day I left him at 7:00 pm and he died at 8:30pm. Jim Baker was at his bedside along with Bruces' son Eric.
All the guys were struck hard. We often tell Bruce stories.
We had a party for him and Eric spread his ashes on Ore Lake along with a bottle of long neck Strohs. A bag piper played Amazing Grace.
He would have liked the send off. I still choke up.
