Donald Paul of Brighton, a 25 year resident of Brighton, passed away in the care of his family on September 29, 2017 at the age of 84.

In addition to Frances, his high school sweetheart and beloved wife of 64 years, Don is survived by their son, Don (Sue) Tavarozzi; daughters, Dianne (Joe) Salter; and Denise (Bob) Graber; grandchildren, Eric Tavarozzi, Anthony Salter, Jacob Salter, and Robert Salter, Ariel Graber, and Jessica Graber, brother, Jim (Judy) Tavarozzi, as well as extended family and dear friends.

Donald was proud to have earned his bachelor's degree from Michigan State and later his Master's in Education from Wayne State University. He worked in education for 34 years in the capacity of teacher, athletic director, administrator and principal in various school districts.

Visitation will take place at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 600 East Main St., Brighton on Sunday, October 1, 2017 from 1-8 PM. Rosary 7 PM. A Funeral Service will be held from St. Patrick Parish, 711 Rickett Rd., Brighton on Monday, October 2, 2017 at 10:30 AM with gathering at the church beginning at 9:30 AM. The Rev. Fr. Joseph Campbell to officiate. Burial will take place following the service at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 25800 W 10 Mile Rd., Southfield, MI 48033.
