As per  Mary Heraty Sparkman: I was told Colleen drown while diving cenotes (underground rivers/lakes) in Mexico. I heard she did a lot of missionary work in Mexico. Colleen and I were great friends throughout jr and sr high school, and were on the swimming team together. She was a great diver and won many competitions at swim meets, I was saddened to hear of her passing.
