Class of 1956, Gerald “Jerry” Griswold, 79, of Linwood Southmont Road, died Tuesday, July 04, 2017, at Hinkle Hospice House.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2017, at Davidson Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Harris officiating. Entombment will follow in Floral Garden. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 to 1:30 prior to the service.

Mr. Griswold was born September 15, 1937, in Detroit Michigan, to Henry Griswold and Eleanor Dombrowski Griswold. He served in the U.S. Army and later retired from Massey Ferguson where he had served as a supervisor. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Pricie Faye Vance Griswold; and son, Thomas Griswold.

Surviving are daughter, Maureen Charmley (Bill) of Michigan; grandchildren, Colin Charmley and Aidan Charmley; brothers, Richard Griswold, Dennis Griswold, and Mark Griswold, all of Michigan; and special niece, Britany Vance of Michigan.
