Charles Edward Geer, Class of 1963, of Chelsea, Michigan, age 72, died Thursday, April 4, 2019 at the Arbor Hospice Residence with his family by his side. He was born April 15, 1946 in Detroit, the son of Edward William and Lenora Whitfield (Van Meter) Geer.
    Charles graduated from Mackenzie High School in Detroit, and then attended Western Michigan University. He loved being a facilitator for the automotive industry. Charles and Gail taught self-actualization classes all over the US. He attended Unity Church in Warren.

    He is survived by his wife, Gail; seven children, Todd (Tracy) Geer, Christopher Geer, Corey (Corissa) Geer, Cassie Geer, Carrie Geer, Jan (Mike Kearns) Dijkers, Sander (Gloria) Dijkers; a sister, Sally Kaufmann; a niece, Michelle (Ted) Gostomski; 11 grandchildren, Madison, Marlee, Connor, Logan, Grace, Maxwell, Kylee, Henry, Edward, Ava, and Claire. 
    A private gathering in his memory will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association. Arrangements by Cole Funeral Chapel, Chelsea.
