Joanne A. Wagner, of Orchard Lake, Michigan, passed away on March 15, 2021. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 2, 1935. Joanne attended Mackenzie High School in Detroit before going on to earn her Associate’s degree from Henry Ford Community College. She worked as a legal secretary for a number of attorneys and was a fill in secretary for Judge Sosnick. Joanne was a devote member of Our Lady Of Refuge church where she sung in the choir. She enjoyed spending time with her bridge group and book club. One of her favorite hobbies was cooking much to the benefit of her family who got to enjoy all of her culinary creations. Joanne never met a stranger, she was known for her friendliness and warmth. She is survived by her beloved husband Donald Wagner; son Douglas A. Wagner of White Lake, MI; daughter Katharine M. Brown of Waterford, MI; grandchildren Brandon Blair of Rochester Hills, MI, Christifer Blair of Garden City, MI, Kingdon Wagner of Rochester Hills, MI, Marina Calhoun of Waterford, MI, Quinn Brown of Waterford, MI, Dustin Wagner of White Lake, MI , Whitney Wagner of White Lake, MI, and Stephanie Sparks of Waterford, MI; sisters Nancy Knight of Florida and Arlene Traynor of Florida. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations in Joanne's name can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
