In Memory

Roberta J. Tabor (1960) (McNally)

Roberta "Bobbi" McNally Age 79, of Birmingham. Died peacefully on Monday, November 22, 2021. Roberta is the loving wife of Thomas for fifty-three wonderful years; cherished mother of Sean (Jacqueline) McNally of Troy. Mrs. McNally is also survived by her dear grandchildren Liam, Seth, Claire and Julia. Also, by many loving extended family and friends. Sadly, she is preceded in death by her daughter Megan McNally Nacy (d.2018) and son-in-law Peter Nacy (d.2017). Bobbi was born and raised in Michigan. She graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in communications and was a loyal Spartan all her life. Before starting a family, she worked for WJR radio, WWJ-Televison and Detroit Sinai Hospital. Her greatest passion in life was the stage. She studied and performed ballet for nearly 20 years. Later in life, she produced countless productions for Royal Oak Stagecrafters. She also played an integral part of reviving the Stagecrafters Youth Theater, which both of her children actively participated in. Bobbi's creativity was not limited to the stage, with her talents spanning from illustrating, stained glass, painting and photography. She had a love of travelling and taking pictures of wonderful memories. Her favorite destinations were Italy's Amalfi Coast and New Jersey to visit her beloved daughter. A memorial service honoring Roberta's life will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 29th, 2021 at AJ Desmond & Sons (Vasu, Rodgers and Connell Chapel), 32515 Woodward, Royal Oak. The McNally family will begin to greet guests at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions to the Megan McNally Nacy '91 Memorial Scholarship fund at Marian High School.
