Richard J. Larkins, a resident of Livonia, passed from this life on November 7, 2019, at the age of 77.

Richard Larkins  was born in Detroit, Michigan to John and Barbara Larkins. Richard obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in printing from Ferris State University before taking a job on the assembly line for Ford Motor Company. Richard spent his years between several different auto glass divisions within Ford before retiring from the windshield felt trimming line at the Rouge plant. 

Richard is survived by his two children, Scott (Jill) and Dawn and two grandsons Brandon (Bryanne) and Justin (Hannah).

Richard was a 32-degree Mason.

Richard took yearly vacations with his mother and children to destinations such as Disney World, Chicago, Toronto, Wisconsin Dells and Niagara Falls.

Richard's family has entrusted his care and services to the L.J. Griffin Funeral Home, Westland-734-522-9400.
