Richard A. Chave, class of 1965, and resident of Farmington Hills, passed from this life on January 23, 2018, at the age for 70.

Richard was the dear brother of Howard (Gloria) and Donald (Pat). He was the cherished uncle of Craig (Leslie), James (Diane), William (Yaz) and Michael (Michele). 

Richard was a Tool and Die maker for 30 years and had a great love for cars. He was a collector of cars, a member of a car club, and enjoyed going to car shows.

He was a great lover of animals and will be dearly missed by his dog Monty.

He will be resting at the L.J. Griffin Funeral Home, 8809 Wayne Rd. (at Joy Rd) on Thursday, January 25, 2018, from 2 p.m. until the time of his Funeral Service at 7:00 p.m.

The family requests memorial contributions be made in Richard's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
