His Legacy… William Jack Hill, 79, passed away July 6, 2018. (Class of 1956)  He was born on August 29, 1938, in Detroit, Michigan to William Hill and Mildred (Waite) Hill. Jack married the love of his life, Kathleen Ann Gavlik, on August 22, 1970, in Traverse City, Michigan. Jack was a Joy to be around, he was fun loving and happy. Jack loved telling a good joke, and enjoyed traveling to Florida with Kathy. Together, they spent a lot of time on the water, especially on the boat and the beach. Family gatherings were the most important to him and spending time with his grandchildren.

His Family… Jack will be missed by his wife Kathy; his children, Todd William (Tammy) Hill, and Shannon Lynn (David) Heckman; sister, Jill (Thomas) Beattie; grandchildren, Brittany, Brendan, and Zachary; along with many nieces and nephews. 

His Farewell… Jack’s family and friends will gather Tuesday, July 10, 2018 from 2:00-8:00pm at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. His Community Farewell will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at 11:00am (10:00am gathering) at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 7661 E. M-36, Hamburg, Michigan.
