Jeannine Cattaruzza Zarem, 60, of 2 Matteson Brook Lane, Simpsonville, died Saturday, January 6, 2007, at Greenville Memorial Medical Center.

Born in Metz, France, she was the daughter of Martha Bour Cattaruzza of Simpsonville and the late Dino Cattaruzza.

Mrs. Zarem earned her college degree from Wayne State University. Prior to her retirement, she was owner of an insurance agency. She attended St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church.

Surviving, in addition to her mother, are a brother, Daniel Cattaruzza of Simpsonville; a niece; and a nephew.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church at noon on Tuesday, with visitation prior from 9 to 11:30 a.m. The Rite of Committal will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
