Dearest Alumni,

Our purpose is to provide financial assistance for the goals and objectives of
the association. Let me try to answer some of your questions up front:

1.  What type of programs does Friends of Osborn (FOA) provide?

Good question:  FOA has launched a mentoring program that is school wide.  The
program scope is top notch and the activities planned for the students will
enrich their educational journeys and promote their daily living  skills.

ACT/SAT prep;tutoring; ettique classes; resume and interview tips are just a few
topics covered in the program. 

Also FOA will host the second annual scolarship luncheon in May 2011 and award scholarships to eligible seniors: Uniform Drive assist students that need uniforms to attend school.   These projects are not all inclusive of our program but I hope you get the picture.

2. When does FOA meet?

We post our monthly meetings at this website, but generally it is the 3rd Saturday of the month.  For this month, November 13, 2010, we will meet at DeAngelo's on Telegraph Rd. (See flyer on this site for detail). Time: 3:00 pm (promptly) - 5:00 pm.

We are planning a holiday gathering for December so watch this site for more
info. 

Our January - April, 2011 meetings will be held at Bronco Bowling lanes,
Warren, MI.   Flyers to be posted.

3. What other activies or service does FOA have to offer?

We  have a website for on-line shopping with Mega savings and rebates to FOA.  Check out the Friends of Osborn ZamZuu site info below.

Additionally, FOA has participated in (3) student assemblies this school year
and several alumni have been speakers.

4. Any upcoming holiday projects?

For Thanksgiving FOA will donate (4) turkeys and Meijers gift cards to 4 student families of our beloved Alma Mater. 

5. How much is membership and how can I join?

We will post Account name, mailing address and number if you choose to mail your payment directly to the credit union. Please allow 3 business days after posting and your membership card should be sent to you. Our Membership Co Chairs, Ms Pam Ryals and Mr Bill Ryals, will mail out your cards.  Please provide an adress with payment.

The cost:  $20.00 per year.
