As some of you may or may not know, I left Osborn prior to graduation in the 11th grade due to pregnacy. I later attended night classes at Osborn and rec'd my GED cert. in 1980. I will never forget the day my graduation class rode down my street with horns honking while I sat feeding my baby girl. I felt such regret that I could not partake in that joyous celebration! Nevertheless, I have NO regrets for having my daughter LaShanda. Things happen in our lives for a reason. She is a strong woman, an Osborn grad herself, soon to receive B.A. in bus. admin.,a banker, wife, mother and woman of God. People praise me for her upbringing...I praise God!
After seven years of marriage, my daughter and her husband finally blessed me with twin grandsons, Justin and Jaylin, now seven. They are the joy and inspiration of my life!
I have such fond memories of times spent with friends at and away from school. We were all so young and foolish. A lot of my best memories go back as far as Pierce Elelm. and Grant School. Thank God that we survived and even excelled... unfortunately, some didn't. I am SO glad for this opportunity to say "Hi" to all my classmates, neighbors and friends! I hope that all of your memories of me are fond ones as well...God bless you all and I hope to see you someday.

High points of your life? Famous or interesting people you've met?
High points...After seven years of marriage, the news that my daughther was pregnant with twins-I nearly fainted!
My daughter and her husband gave me a SURPRISE 50th birthday party last year. The guest list included a HOST of friends, old and new, family and co-workers. That blessed event will be etched in my heart forever...it was amazing!
Famous people...I was an extra in the movie "Prayers for Bobby" and was in a scene with Sogourney Weaver, but don't look for me though because they cut me out...that's OK, I'm just glad for the experience. I am in a movie due out soon, an independent film called "Uncut". I portray the lead character's mom. It was a lot of hard work. I think I like the live stage better and plan to pusue it more in the future.
I have met so many interesting people in my life, they may not be famous but man are they interesting!
Where are some of the places you've traveled? What was the furthest you've travel? or Where would you like to travel?
I've traveled to lot of states in the U.S.... GA, SC, NC, MO, IL, AL,TN, to name a few. I took my first cruise 1/24/10 to Key West, Cayman Islands and Jamaica...FUN!!! In Mar. 2013, my daughter took me on a ALL EXPENSES PAID 6 day trip to the Caribbean...Grand Cayman Islands where we stayed at a luxury resort. We had the BEST TIME EVER and it was ALL FREE!!!! I would love to someday visit Hawaii, France and Italy and would especially love to go to Africa on a outreach mission.
