I have been driving a truck since 1990 with the better part of 3 years of that in Kuwait & Iraq as a civilian contractor. I wrote a book about it called "Cindy in Iraq: A Civilians Year in The War Zone" and there may be a movie based on it.
I am the co-founder of "Road Dogs on Hogs". A group of truck drivers that love to bike motorcycles. We have one big trip to Sturgis Bike Week every year and promote camaraderie among drivers on the road!
I live near the coast of Mississippi and drive for a flatbed company on the coast. We haul a lot of NGSS stuff so in a way I am still supporting our military.
Kenny is an Iraq Vet and we were there at the same time. He is dealing with PTSD, but getting better.
Ian mechanic in Helena, AR. and doing great!
Steffan made me a Maw-maw July 23, 2006!
On Nov 19, 2008 I fell from my loaded flatbed, head first. Both wrist were shattered, my nose was broke and I had 10 stitches in several places on my face.
My doctor has projected my return to work as November, but at least I am back on my bike. |
