Hello Class,

  The 40th reunion of DCHS Class of 1979 is officially in the record books ! WHAT A GREAT TURN OUT & GREAT EVENING ! Bob Wolcott and the Greystone staff made the evening memorable and enjoyable for everyone. Tracey Pernell, the 70's hits brought back great memories to all.  Many thanks to those of you who participated in the planning meetings that helped to make the event a success ! The poignant and beautifuil memorial display ( Robbie Miller Mincey & Joy Stinson) of our deceased classmates sparked more hugs and well wishes as well as an incentive to hold class reunions every 5 years from this point on.  The 45th reunion of DCHS Class of 1979 will be planned for sometime in 2024 - hard to believe.  Anyone who wants to help, please comment on our class Facebook page.

  I hope this writing finds that everyone  is having a great new year so far.  Thanks to Cindy Lee Gilliland for creating this class website from  previous reunions.  After consideration , myself, Rita Warf McBroom and Joy Stinson will be assuming the maintenance of this site, so be  patient with us in this transition period.

Take a moment to review the In Memory page on this site. We have lost at least 4 classmates since the last reunion.

Hold your friends and family a little closer this season & remember the reason for the season - the greatest GIFT the world has ever received ! Our Lord !
