Michelle Diane Westbrook Johnson, 36, of Wilson, died Tuesday, June 17, 2008, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were held Thursday, June 19, 2008, at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Fred Dixon officiating and burial following in Wayne Memorial Park.
Born in Wayne County, she was employed with BB&T in Wilson. She was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparents, Henry and Eunice Cox. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband, David Leon Johnson; one son, Austin David Johnson of the home; one sister, Elizabeth Johnson of Clinton, N.C.; her parents, Mary and Paul Dexter of Goldsboro and Pat and Debra Westbrook of Grantham; her brother, Blake Dexter of Dudley; and her maternal grandmother, Elma Rae Stevens of Grantham.

I remember her, we rode the same bus. Wow, she had a peacefull attitude, I have never seen her upset or angry. Michelle was a wonderfull classmate and a great friend. I hope her son will read this and know he is Lucky youngster to have a Gracefull mother.
