07/30/08 07:05 PM #7     Nicole McGehee Ok, Magic Springs, huh? Ya'll better be workin' on your back stroke. I will be bring my A-game. Yeah, um 28, I mean 32 and just learning how to swim, but by then I will really be ready. Ha, it was only a couple summers ago that I was in the Bahamas and this lil' boy, about 5 years old, came flying by me swimming on his back. There I was about to drown in the 3ft, ha, and he goes "Mam you need some help"! Yeah I was in the kiddy side of the pool, but it was only because one of the adult pools was crowded and the other was, well let's just say you didn't need a bathing suit for that one....It was then that I knew I needed help. However, I went under the water and took it like a woman. I missed out on about 5 minutes of life afterwards, but who was counting? LOL. When I got back to Little Rock, it was on and poppin'. Soooo, get ready ya'll and I can't wait to enjoy that day with all of you! Much Love!

08/13/08 09:24 PM #12     Tanya Norman TO THE CLASS, ONCE THE SURVEY WAS COMPLETED AND THE MAJORITY OF CLASSMATES WHO RESPONDED, THE ARLINGTON HOTEL WAS CHOSEN. AT THAT TIME , THE SALES MANAGER AT THE ARLINGTON HOTEL WAS CONTACTED SO WE COULD MAKE SURE THE DATES FOR THE REUNION WE WANTED WERE NOT TAKEN. AT THAT PARTICULAR POINT, THE DUMAS HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 1994 COMMITTED TO THE ARLINGTON HOTEL. AS OF TODAY, AUGUST 13TH,2008, THE BINDING CONTRACT BETWEEN US AND THE HOTEL WAS RECEIVED. THIS CONTRACT INCLUDES THE BLOCKING OF 40 ROOMS,30 SINGLE AND 10 DOUBLE. {THE NUMBER OF ROOMS AND SIZE CAN BE ADDED OR CHANGED AT ANYTIME.} THE BOOKING OF THE MEETING ROOM, {IN WHICH WE WILL HOLD OUR MEET AND GREET} AND THE MAGNOLIA ROOM{BANQUET}. THIS ROOM SEATS UP TO 100 PEOPLE. AT A DISCOUNTED PRICE, WE RECEIVED THESE ROOMS FOR $100 EACH. A TOTAL OF $200. THESE ROOMS ARE USUALLY $400-$450 EACH. THERE IS A DEPOSIT THAT HAS TO BE PAID. THE DEPOSIT IS $250. THIS HAS TO BE PAID WITHIN 10 DAYS OF RECEIVING THE CONTRACT ON OR BEFORE AUGUST 21ST, WHICH IS NEXT THURSDAY. THE NEXT MEETING IS SET FOR SEPT.13TH SO, WE AS A CLASS NEED TO FIGURE OUT HOW WE ARE GOING TO PAY THIS DEPOSIT. IF THE DEPOSIT IS NOT RECEIVED BY OR ON THE 21ST, THE CONTRACT IS NULL AND VOID. I WILL ASK FOR AN EXTENSION, BUT IF NOT GIVEN ONE, I WILL PUT THE MONEY DOWN MYSELF WITH THE EXCEPTION I CAN GET MY MONEY BACK AS SOON AS WE START TO PAY OUR REUNION FEES. IF ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS, PLEASE CALL ME.

08/14/08 02:50 PM #13     Tanya Norman AS OF TODAY, WE HAVE RECEIVED AN EXTENTION FOR THE DEPOSIT. THE DEPOSIT NOW HAS TO BE PAID ON THURSDAY AUGUST 28TH. ROSHONDA, SHANNON NASH AND MYSELF WILL SPLIT THE DEPOSIT IN 3 WAYS AND PAY IT BY THE EXTENSION DATE WITH THE EXCEPTION WE CAN RECEIVE A FULL REFUND OF OUR MONEY ONCE THE REUNION FEES ARE PAID.

And where there is SMOKE, there is normally what? Oh! I think you all know the rest! Just continue to spread the "WORD", and tell everyone that the Class of 1994 is on FIRE again!

We are trying to do everything right and in order. If you feel that there is an area that we have overlooked or their is more information needed, please let me know. I don't know about you, but I am looking forward to seeing everyone. The class of 1994 is the best and always will be.

Lee Lee, we're going to get "reunited...ya-eh-ya-a-uh." I'll be terribly disappointed if we don't have a full contact game of Kill-the-man in the park. I haven't seen most of you since 8th grade, which means I have been waiting 19 years to jack some people up. Patrick Hickey, Cedric Jones, and Kevin Galloway if I can catch him. Anybody else is welcome to hit Lee Lee. I'll be nursing a bad shoulder when he runs the ball or the styrofoam cup or whatever it might be. I am proud to still be considered part of this class, and I look forward to seeing you in Hot Springs. That means all of you, Julie, Jeannie, Melissa, Bryan Yarnell, Lew. If you're bashful you're liable to get bashed when the partying starts. Last, I think we should consider having some honored guests. Maybe Coach McGhee...somebody to blow the whistle and remind us we're adults. A Mrs. Dot or Wessor might be good to make anyone's heart sink who gets to having too much fun. Thank you.

Emmanuel can bring his cot to my room and crash because he's a soldyah. Solomon, although I don't remember him, won't be hard to find, I'm sure. Out.
