Mr. Kareem Latif Fowler, 33, of 1226 Sedgefield St., Durham, NC. Died Saturday, April 17, 2010 at Duke University Medical Center, Durham, NC.

Kareem was the only son of Glenda Turner Fowler and Alfred Fowler. He was born on April 3, 1977

He received his education in Durham, Public School and graduated from Durham High School, 1995. He furthered his education at Livingston College, Salisbury, NC for two years. Kareem was driven and had a zest for higher learning. He was a 2008 graduate of CET, upon which he was immediately accepted into Strayer University. He majored in Business Finance, which he was compassionate about. He enjoyed the entire academic experience.

Cherishing his life and memories are: his daughter, Aniya Lindsay of the home; one son, Chaz; his mother, Glenda Fowler and father Alfred L. Fowler; grandparents, Elizabeth Turner, (deceased) and Elder Lawrence Turner (Mary); his uncles, Herman Turner (Audrey), Lawrence Turner III (Jacqueline) and Vincent Turner; his aunts, Thomasine Perry (Dwayne), Andrea Fowler, Annette Fowler and Anita Fowler and a host of great uncles. great aunts, cousins and many, many friends.
