Comments:

I was married to Rocky LeCompte and Cass was born in 1972. After my divorce in '77, Cass and I moved to Washington State, went to school for my BS degree at Central Wash. University in Ellensburg, WA.

In 1983 married Richard Jay Gallipo in Yakima where we lived until moving back to Eagle Butte in 1986. Received a MS degree from Minot State University and will have worked for the BIA Cheyenne River Agency as a Speech Therapist for 23 yrs in August.

My second daughter, Lynsi Blair Gallipo was born in 1984 and my son, Daxton Chase Gallipo, was born in 1988. My step son and step daughter Richie and Stacy Gallipo still live in Yakima, WA. I have been truly blessed with great kids! (They call me the "force feeder" and "smother mother" because I love cooking for and overprotecting them.)

Twelve years ago, Cass married Patrick West and they gave us three grandchildren; Justice Wayne 10, Gavin Riley 9, and Gage Maverick 22 mos.
Our daughters Cass and Lynsi both live in the Black Hills and Daxton lives in Eagle Butte. Cassy (37) is a Civil Engineer, multitasker and 2nd generation force feeder and smother mother, Lynsi (25) is a Cosmetologist confident free spirit who loves to get on the road to see new places & friends, and Daxton (21) is a Mechanic and alpha deer hunter anxiously positive about what adult life has in store.

Dick worked as the Plant Manager for the Eagle Butte Public School for almost 20 years and retired 2 yrs ago, but continues to serve the School as a sub on a part time basis, as he cannot be a couch potato. He enjoys being busy and always engaged in projects. He's a wonderful father and husband...a macho man with great compassion and faith.

We currently live two miles out of Eagle Butte and enjoy the life we have here on the SD prairie. Our children are good human beings and we are very proud of them.

Of course we live to spoil our grandchildren and have them whenever we can. We enjoy entertaining and having friends and family from away, come to visit when and for as long as they can.

We've been blessed with great kids, family and friends. Our children and grandchildren are our first priority.

I continue to love my job where I currently serve as the Coordinator for the Cheyenne River Infant & Toddler Program. We serve children with disabilties from Birth to Five years of age. We have a 10 member local staff of individuals who really care about kids and families, and have teamed up with USD Medical School, Center for Disabilities to provide Comprehensive Developmental Clinics here in Eagle Butte (so that families don't have to travel 3 hrs minimum one way). I am so fortunate to be able to do what I love and enjoy going to work everyday. The families and children make every day interesting. There's never a dull moment here on Cheyenne River. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else right now.

Looking forward to seeing classmates and others that played such an important role in my life during school years and can't wait to visit with you to share our life stories so far...

Best memory in high school

Sorry, the best memories probably shouldn't be shared on this site. lol

School was alot of fun for me and I have so many wonderful memories. Many fond memories of people that I've lost track of and hope to connect with again at the reunion...

We can tell stories then!
