I lived in Rapid City for about 6 years, from 1998-2004. While I lived there, I worked a few different jobs, and slowly attempted to get some college education. When I moved home in 2004, I worked a couple other jobs for about 2 years. In 2006, I started working as a wildland firefighter as a way of getting myself to art school in Santa Fe, NM. I started school at the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe in the Spring of 2007. Since then, I have continued to return to IAIA. I am working towards a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, and I'm focusing on Jewelry Making, working with metals. Right now I am in my 6th semester at IAIA and I still have about 2 more years to go, not sure what I'll do when I'm done..........."and that's the truth, plplpplplplplplplpl"....
