THE CLASS OF 1983 WOULD LIKE TO INVITE THE CLASS OF 1982 AND 1984 TO JOIN US FOR OUR REUNION - SPREAD THE WORD. PLEASE INVITE THOSE CLASSMATES TO VISIT WEBSITE AND SEND EMAIL REQUESTING TO BE ADDED TO OUR GUEST MEMBER LIST.

REUNION EVENTS - Registration Due By: 08-31-2013

Friday, September 13, 2013, we are planning a Port-a-pit BBQ tailgate inside the Forbush High School Courtyard. We are hoping that good food, a rival football game with Starmount, and the place where it all started stirs up some memories. We will start-up around 5:30 pm. $17.00 per person - 1/2 Chicken Plate with baked beans, BBQ slaw, dinner roll, drink, and dessert.

Saturday, September 14, 2013, we are planning a business casual light meal at Third Branch in Yadkinville. We are hoping that you will come and enjoy a night of remembering days that we (or our parents) will never forget. "Our kind of music" will be playing in case anyone wants to move like they did 30 years ago. Re- Acquaintance Hour starts at 6:30 pm. $48.00 per person - Appetizers, Salad, Bread, Carving Stations, Pasta Stations, Dessert, Ice Tea, Cash Bar with beer and wine.

Sunday, September 15, 2013, we are planning a lunch and wine tasting at Flint Hill Vineyards. As our final farewell until our next reunion we hope you will join us for a relaxing send off at 11:45 am. $15.00 per person - Chicken Salad Croissant, chips, and cookies, also includes tasting 7 wines with souvenir glass.

Hello to all my fellow alumni:

I am so sad to say that due to the terrible flooding in Colorado my flight was cancelled and they could not even get me on another they said until late Saturday night or Sunday morning with all the rescheduling. My family and I are fine, but the flooding is literally 20 miles to the east, 20 miles to the west and 20 miles to the north. We have had street flooding, but nothing compared to the surrounding area.

I was so looking forward to catching up with everyone and sharing the what why's and how's of the paths we have each taken on our life's journey. I hope each of you are well and I look forward to seeing pictures.

My plane ticket of course was placed on hold and at some point I hope to get back for a visit. Connect with me on facebook under Tammy Lovejoy-Teixeira. It would be great to chat and when I am able to arrange again to come back, maybe we could have dinner or something.
