Sadly, our dear friend and classmate, Paul Brunelle, passed away on May 27, 2010.  His cousin and our classmate, Carly Waldron Brady, sent along her fond remembrances:  "Paul was a wonderful person who leaves behind a wondeful family. Paul J. Brunelle 1956-2010 SPRINGFIELD - Paul Joseph Brunelle, 54, husband for 21 years to Angela Nichting- Brunelle, passed away on May 27, 2010 with his family at his side. Paul was born in Montague, the son of Wilfred Joseph Brunelle, of East Longmeadow; and the late Elinor Jean (Waldron) Brunelle; but was a Springfield resident for 21 years. He was employed as Yard Foreman for Springfield Lumber where he worked for 20 years. Paul was a parishioner of St. Patrick Church, Springfield. In addition to his wife and his father, Paul is survived by a son, Matthew Brunelle; a daughter, Sarah Brunelle; 4 sisters, Linda Krause and her companion, David Ritchie, Karen and her husband, Ron Senecal, Dianne and her husband, David Radebaugh, Susan and her husband , James Curran; his mother in law, Joann Nichting; a sister in law and her husband, Elizabeth and John Condon; a brother in law and his wife, Paul and Joanne Nichting; several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He also leaves his faithful canine "DUKE". His family will receive friends for calling hours at the Forastiere Smith Funeral Home, 220 North Main St., East Longmeadow, on Wednesday from 5:00 - 8:00 PM. His funeral ceremony will be held on Thursday with everyone asked to assemble in the funeral home by 8:45 AM. This will be followed by a procession to St. Patrick's Church, 1900 Allen St., Springfield for a Liturgy of Christian Burial, celebrated at 10:00 AM.
