Carolyn was another of our classmates who left us too soon.

One of the things that I remember about her is that, after we graduated, she was always one to visit folks and she always took someone with her.  She would call me and say, "I'm going to visit so-and-so tomorrow.  Do you want to go with me"?  Now that I have talked to some of my other friends, I find that she did that to a lot of people.  She kept us in touch with each other for a long time before she left us.

The first play that she directed when she was teaching at Triad High School was "The Curious Savage."  It meant a lot to her to do that play.  She really was a pretty sentimental person.

I'm sorry that she didn't make it long enough to attend the 50th.  She would have loved it.

I met Carolyn in 7th grade and enjoyed knowing her.  I remember her as a good basketball player during those gym days and we even played against each other with different church groups down at old Winstanley Baptist.  She seemed calm and faithful to me.  I lost contact after graduation and was so sorry to learn of her passing.  I too feel she would have loved the high school reunions.
