Fred was so polite and respectful. I saw him once after graduation when his was visiting his mother in the hospital where I worked. She was a patient of mine. His mother was very proud of him. If my memory serves me right he was in the military. Sad to hear he is gone.
Fred, our families' annual float trip on the Current River are some of the most treasured memories that our children and we have of them growing up. The one single event that probably had the most life altering effect on the outcome of my life was when I was late getting to the Federal Building in East St. Louis, and Michael and you along with the recruiter were gone. When I saw you later that night, the two of you were US Marines. You were a great friend and I miss you.
