I enjoyed many classes with Eugene. He was very smart and helped me get through some of those difficult classes. He was very kind and soft spoken. I'm sure whatever he did he did it well.
Eugene and I went to the University of Illinois. As I recall, he stayed on to get a PhD in Electrical Enginnering. I remember hearing that he had finished that degree. So sorry to see that we have lost him.
Eugene, I was so glad when you were in our Cub Scout Pack. In the summer time when we had the pack ball games at Wideman's ball field, it always came down that we were the last two to be picked for a team. Obviously softball wasn't our game, but I'm sure you were the only one that got a PHD.
