I just this day read my East Side email and learned that Connie has transitioned; if anyone has citation to her obituary, I'd appreciate knowing abut it.
I met Connie at Rock Jr. High. She had one of the roughess childhoods of those I knew during those early years. But, somehow she attained a college education, married the love of her life, had loving children. Based on the brief reunion-associated contact we had in recent years, I think Connie had a happy life as an adult.
I also want to mention that the sycronycity of events astound me. By that I mean it was only two or three days ago that I came across a poem Connie wrote and sent to me in a Christmas card of some years ago. I will post the poem here later because I think it shows the kindness of her heart.
