Gregory Theodore Freeman              August 31, 1946 - August 31, 2005

Gregory Theodore Freeman, 50 of Bend, Oregon, died peacefully at home with his family of cancer on his birthday, August 31, 2005. Greg was born in Seattle on August 31, 1946, to Susan (Freeman) McComas and Maxwell T. Freeman (deceased).

Greg was raised in Edmonds, moved to Bellingham in 1969 and later to Bend, in 1997. He is survived by his wife, Tudor McCook of Bend, daughter Anne Freeman of Bellingham, mother and step-father, Susan and Steven McComas of Everett, and sister and brother-in-law Christine and David Friedman of Venice, FL.

Greg graduated from Edmonds High School and obtained his undergraduate and master's degree from Western Washington University. Greg was a veteran of the army, where he served in Vietnam. Greg worked as a teacher and principal for the Bellingham School District for 26 years. When he retired, he moved to Bend to pursue a life as an entrepreneur. Greg was involved in many businesses that were centered around technology, website design and marketing. Greg is known by all as a passionate fisherman and outdoors man. He loved to travel the world in search of adventure!
