In Memory

Jane Efroymson

Jane Efroymson died December 26, 2017 after leading a very active life. She was a passionate New Yorker, enjoying its theatre, dance, street fairs, restaurants and her wealth of friends. She walked everywhere including across all of Manhattan's bridges despite knowing the transit system from and to any location. She died one month after being diagnosed with lung cancer. She was born in Elizabeth, NJ in 1953, daughter of Meyer and Marilynn Efroymson. She worked in the insurance benefits world for forty years. She is survived by her brother John, sister-in-law Carole Dennis, and her faithful walking companion Spanky, the wonderdog. There will be a celebration of Jane's life in NYC in the spring.

Donations may be made to the SPCA, homeless shelters and food pantries, Planned Parenthood, Habitat for Humanity, Doctors Without Borders and other health related non-profits, public schools, or a charity of one's choice.
