David Biggs David Ransom Age 52 of Elmira, died very unexpectedly, at home, on Monday, June 3, 2002. David was born May 12, 1950 son of Elizabeth Betty Biggs and the late George Ransom Biggs. In addition to his mother he is survived by his daughter, Catherine Katie Biggs of Pine City; former wife, Susan Biggs of Pine City; brothers, James (Jean Ann) Biggs of Pine City and John (Nancy) Biggs of Staten Island NY; sisters, Margy Biggs of Elmira and Wendy Leahy of Watertown MA; nieces and nephews, Paula and Michael Biggs, Brittany Schiefen, Ben, Will and Matthew Leahy; along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins. bf Friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, corner of Water and Walnut Sts., on Thursday, June 6, 2002 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, June 7, 2002 at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be in St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery. David was a long time employee of Seneca Beverage Corp. in Elmira. He enjoyed sports; being an avid golfer and a player in the Presidential Basketball League for a number of years. David also enjoyed time at the family cottage on Keuka Lake where he was known for his trout fishing.
