STONE, June M. Age 58, of Elmira, NY, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2009, at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. She was born on April 16, 1951 in Elmira, NY to the late Walter and Mary (Reep) Breese. Survivors include her children, Joseph (Lisa) Stone of Breesport, Amy (Robert) Charron of Elmira, Martin (Tiffany) Stone of Elmira Heights and Laurie (William Towne) Wooster of Elmira; grandchildren, Kaylea Burbank, Samantha Stone, Justin Burbank, Jessica Stone, Miranda Stone, Briana Lentkowski, Cameron Stone, Tieler Martin, Christopher Stone and Courtney Stone; sisters, Jill Palmer of Matthews, NC, Fran (Walter) Davis of Painted Post and Stella Campbell of OR; special nephew, Michael (Jean) Palmer; along with several nieces and nephews; and close friend, Barb Brooks. June was a former employee of Thomas & Betts for 19 years and was currently employed by Reubins Bookstore. She earned her Associates Degree in Accounting from Corning Community College at the age of 55 and was an avid cookbook and kangaroo collector. Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, July 15th from 6 to 8 p.m. at the James D. Barrett Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place there at 8 p.m. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
