JEZIORSKI, Thomas J.

Elmira: Age 66, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Tom was born February 8, 1945, a son of the late Edward J. and Helen (Monahan) Jeziorski. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years Anne Powelson Jeziorski; brother, Edward J. Jeziorski, Jr., of Elmira; aunt, Marion Roberts of Odessa; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Rebecca (Kenneth) Allison of Arizona, Dr. Stephen (Mathis) Powelson of Virginia, Sara (Michael) Kirby of Virginia, Dr. John (Julie) Powelson of Indiana; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Granger of Elmira Heights, Carolyn Jeziorski of Cairo, Egypt, Edward J. (Brandi) Jeziorski of California, Patrick (Alexis) Jeziorski of Elmira; along with several other nieces, nephews, and cousins. Tom was an accomplished artist. He was a well known picture framer in the Elmira area for over 46 years, and with his wife Anne owned the Art & Frame Gallery since 1980. An avid gardener, Tom loved the outdoors. He looked forward to his annual summer trips to Maine. Tom also enjoyed reading, bird watching, and animals of all kinds. Friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, corner of W. Water and Walnut Sts., on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A funeral service, officiated by Reverend Donald Matthews, will be held at 7:15 p.m. Those wishing may remember Tom with a donation to either, The SPCA, Route 352, Elmira NY 14903, or The Falck Cancer Center, 600 Roe Avenue, Elmira NY 14905. Tom's family extends their sincere thanks to the doctors and nurses in ICU at the Arnot, along with the staff at Falck Cancer Center, who took exceptional care of him over the past few weeks.
