Laurel “Lolly” Legler Mifkovic Loving Mother and Friend to All

Laurel “Lolly” Legler Mifkovic, 63, a resident of Erie all of her life, died Tuesday evening October 16, 2007 at her residence following a lengthy illness. She was born in Erie on August 3, 1944 a daughter of the late Frank and Laura Simmons Legler. Lolly was a 1963 graduate of Strong Vincent High School and was a House Manager with the Erie Playhouse. Previously, she had worked at the Pal Pharmacy and at AC Moore Co. She was a member of the Siebenbuerger Auxillary and was the Past President of the Erie Playhouse Wing. She enjoyed crafts and knitting.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Legler. Survivors include her husband, David A. Mifkovic; two sons, David A. Mifkovic, Jr. of Dallas, Texas and Danny Mifkovic, of Erie; one daughter, Amy Hagmaier, of Erie; one sister, Shirley Allen and her husband Charles, of Erie; one brother, Ronald Legler of Erie; five grandchildren, Adam, Andrew, and Alora Hagmaier and Darek and Haley Mifkovic; many nieces and nephews also survive.

Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home, 5000 Wattsburg Road, Erie, corner of East Gore Rd. and Pine Ave., Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to services there on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. officiated by Fr.
